The annual HOT ROD Power Tour has come and gone for 2017, but that doesn’t mean that we are finished admiring some of our favorite cars that we saw along the way. If you’re not familiar with the Tour, it’s a 7-city, 7-day road trip through various states in America. This year, it took place in the heart of America, the Midwest, comprised of states like Iowa, Missouri and Indianapolis.

HOT ROD estimated there were some 6,000 cars/trucks this year. The boys at The BLOCK were able to line up feature car shoots, each with a Chevrolet Performance crate engine. Take a look at some of our favorites in the gallery below.

And remember, if you currently have a project needing a powertrain, or you have a project in mind, as you can tell, you can’t go wrong with a Chevrolet Performance crate engine. You can buy an engine, transmission, or complete package called a Connect & Cruise Crate Powertrain System right here at edrinkeperformance.com. Check out Chevrolet Performance’s 2017 Parts Catalog here for every engine, transmission and mixture of the two.

Be sure to notice the last picture below – one of a ’66 Nova. It may seem unsuspecting as your eyes glance past it, but take a moment to appreciate this vehicle as it is actually powered by a Chevrolet Performance LT4 crate engine. Yeah, we couldn’t believe it either. Interested in making similar upgrades to a car of your own?
